Stacey & Ellison

Ummm….this wedding was so much fun!

It is totally on trend to have a barn reception these days, but this couple is the real deal. They held their reception on their own farm in one

of their big, old, beautiful barns. They even drove a tractor train from the ceremony to their reception. Men and their tractors…I don’t

think I have ever had so many groomsmen request pictures. Ha! Love it!

We even took pictures in a field of corn Ellison planted. Everything had so much meaning, which I always love.

Here’s to many beautiful years together!

Seriously another awesome wedding! More friends of ours getting married….it was a busy month.

We did the first look at Riverside Park under the weeping willow and then bounced around downtown

Grand Rapids to get some fun bridal pictures.  I must note the beautiful flower arrangements were made by the groom’s mom

who owns Petunia’s llc. Of course we made a quick stop at the Winchester where Natalie & Jeff had meet while working there.

They had both their ceremony and reception at the Bissell Treehouse at John Ball Zoo and I would definitely recommend it.

What a gorgeous venue tucked high up in the trees overlooking the Grand Rapids skyline.

Congrats!

Lindsey & Chris

So happy for this beautiful couple. They were both beaming with joy from the beginning of the day up until I left them on the dance floor.

Mayflower Congregational Church was the setting for the ceremony and Kent Country Club was a gorgeous backdrop for their reception.

I have had the honor getting to know this entire family and was thrilled to be part of such an important day.

Congratulations and enjoy your honeymoon!

All I can say is gorgeous wedding!

I was excited because both the East Congregational United Church of Christ for the ceremony and City Flats Ballroom for the reception were

firsts for me. I think they are my favorite venues for the year so far. I would highly recommend checking out both if you get a chance.

Cannot wait to go through this entire wedding of one beautiful moment after another. By the way did I mention it was my first Chaldean wedding…

boy can they dance!

Casey & Ryan

Just a few pictures to give a glimpse into a beautiful day. Many, many more images to come.

These two had the perfect day. The weather couldn’t have been better and not a thing went wrong.

We had so much fun with this group.

This was the first time I had gone to Blandford Nature Center and I know it will become one of my

new favorite spots. The rustic barn and field of wild flowers were picture perfect.

So looking forward to going through all the rest of their images.

Congrats Casey & Ryan!

Just a few from Mackinaw last weekend

I had the opportunity to shoot a wedding up in Mackinac Island last weekend. I wanted to post just few pictures as a little preview.

I cannot wait to work more on these images and post a full blog on this event.

Meredith & John

We bounced all over West Michigan for Meredith & John’s wedding and loved every minute of it.

I  had so much fun capturing all the details from start to finish. It was hard to choose only a few images to share on this blog.

They had their first glance at Wuskowhan Players Club and then we headed to Hope College Church for the ceremony. What

a beautiful church….both inside and out. Too bad the church didn’t have any air conditioning because it was one of the hottest

Saturdays this summer. One of the groomsmen actually passed out up on the stage, which was a first for me. It was soon forgotten

though once their sister and friend sang a beautiful song up on the stage. The reception was held at the GRAM downtown

Grand Rapids and we took an awesome group shot of everyone out front at the end of the cocktail hour. The GRAM is such

a gorgeous space and it was filled beautifully with arrangements created by Natalie from Mulick’s Floral. The night flew by

as people danced the night away under the stars that covered the dance floor. Picture Perfect.

Congratulations!!!

Ellen & Gary

What a beautiful wedding from start to finish.

Ellen & Gary were married at Park Church downtown Grand Rapids, which is one of the oldest buildings downtown…

complete with stained glass windows made by Tiffany and Co. The weather was perfect, which for this summer

meant it wasn’t 95 degrees and we had a breeze.  I do believe they had the coolest bus I have been on yet….

complete with a faux fireplace on the bar.

The reception was held at Bridge Water Place and looked gorgeous. Ellen put a lot of energy into the

details, including the cookies she made with her mom as party favors.

Ellen & Gary…. Congrats & Thank You for letting us be part of your beginning!
